Tap Me but gently, as somewhere a mournful vibrato sings "O Sole Mio" ("My Sun").
Tap Me depicts "the right touch" of sensory manipulation - transforming a body into a functioning mechanism. The augmented body brings into question the nature, properties and phenomena of things electric, corporeal and inexplicable. This work continues my investigation into the nature of training, submission and subordination and the disciplinary spaces in which subjectivity and knowledge are formed.
